Comment sélectionner un texte

J'aimerai s'avoir comment faire pour dans une variable sélectionner une partie d'un texte présente après un certain caractère et mettre cette partie dans une autre variable. Je sais c pas très clair !!!

Pos = InStr(1, TaVariable, "Caractère recherché", vbTextCompare)

If Pos > 0 then
Tmp = Right(TaVariable, Len(TaVariable) - Pos)
end if

J'ai pas testé mais ça devrait fonctionner...
