%System% Correspant a quoi ?

Bonjours, voila je vois de plus en plus sur les site la variable d'environnement %System% hor je trouve nul part a quoi elle correspant comme si elle n'existait pas. Mon problème s'est que je n'arrive pas a comprendre si elle renvoie le dossier "system" ou le dossier "system32" sur windows XP. Avez vous une idée ? Merci.

Je pense que ce symbole est une représentation lors de discution afin de symboliser ce répertoire, mais je ne pense pas qu'il existe de raccourci correspondant.
Par contre, %WinDir% ou %SystemRoot% correspondent au répertoire "C:\Windows" où "C" et "Windows" peuvent changer selon l'installation faite
Pour %SYSTEM%, tu peux donc utiliser %WinDir%\System32
